DSP Based Controller APC 100
The APC 100 DSP Based Controller is a new-generation control system developed for meeting advanced material testing requirements. Built on advanced integrated electronic technology with flexible peripheral interfaces, it meets the requirements of both standard and non-standard tests. Equipped with full-digital control, multi-channel data acquisition, and high-speed data transmission capabilities, this system offers powerful performance with data acquisition rates up to 1200Hz, ensuring accurate data processing while remaining user-friendly for operation and maintenance.
Excellent control: The refined closed-loop control algorithm, paired with the upgraded transmission system offering up to 10kHz loop update rates has drastically reduced the system response time. This enhancement allows the equipment to deliver exceptional control over stress rate, strain rate, and crosshead displacement rate across diverse operating conditions. The precise rate control and rational smooth-switching strategies fully satisfy the requirements of room temperature, high-temperature and low temperature testing at varied rates.
Transducer self identification: Transducer connector with chipset can save hardware and calibration information. When transducer (Load cell / Extensometer) is connected to controller, it will recognize transducer and apply calibration information automatically.
Close-loop control: It has a three-closed-loop (force, extention, displacement) control function, realizing full-digital three-closed-loop control of force, deformation, and displacement. Automatic switching between the control loops is possible. Smooth and seamless transitions are achieved when switching between different control modes.
Protection function: It has perfect safety protection functions such as limit protection, overload protection and emergency stop etc.
Waveform control: Able to apply cyclic loads generating waveform control with frequency up to 0.2Hz. Sine, triangular and trapezoidal wave forms are possible.
Collision mitigation function: The feature continuously monitors load values and if force value exceeds a set threshold value, the crosshead movement is adjusted to maintain load with in set value to help protect specimens and accidental damage to the machine. This feature also protects operator from accidental collision of upper and lower grips.

Drive System:
Accurate Alignment for Reliable Testing: In Static testing, precise stress and strain measurements are only possible when the system is supported by robust guidance columns. These ensure stable specimen positioning and minimise bending during load applications.
Rigid Frames for High-Strength Test Applications: The HTS series is designed for exceptional performance with pre loaded bearings, precision ball screws. High stiff upper and lower crossheads ensure high strength and long service life.
Servo-Driven Dual-Belt System: It employs world’s leading manufacturer’s servo motors and servo drives for unmatched control accuracy and easy servicing. Complementing the high-performance servo motor and servo drive with AC/DC options, the HTS Series features a rugged drive system with dual-belt operation. This reduces backlash and increases stiffness, preventing crosshead tilt, and maintains precise alignment throughout testing.
Long Lasting Performance The Load frame in combination with the drive system is made for vibration free and shock free operation even during high force testing of high strength materials, ensuring long life of the frame structure. It also offers steady performance for cyclic, creep, stress rupture, stress relaxation testing for up to 50Hrs.
Precise Test Control: The combination of high performance servo motor, servo drive and smooth motion transmission system ensures very precise position control allowing wide range of position, load and strain rates. It typically offers 0.5 microns/min to 2500mm/min. Optional speed ranges are offered to meet specific test requirements.
