Customer Training
Measure India Corporation Pvt Ltd (MIC) has introduced Customer Training Program (CTP) to train up a batch / team of operators to enhance their exposure to the testing machines and to conduct various advanced material tests with great confidence.
Types of Training Programs
1) In-House Training Program: This is conducted in MIC premises at Hyderabad. We provide the class room with audio visual equipment and our laboratory testing machines for hands on experiments.
2) On-Site Training Program: This is conducted at customer premises. Customer has to provide the training room with audio visual equipment and their lab testing machines for hands on experiments.
In both types of training programs, MIC will provide training course material and test results at the end of session.
Features of Training Program
Class Room Training
Pre-requirements to conduct a test viz., checking the testing machine functionality, ensuring calibration of various sensors like Load Cells, Extensometers, COD Gages, LVDT/Encoder etc. for quality test results.
Making the audience familiar with popular testing standards viz., ASTM, ISI, etc.
Hands-On Training
Hands-On training is given to all the participants in batches on the testing machines. Following tests are demonstrated and trained
Basic Material Tests
- Tensile test as per ASTM E 8M
- Compression test as per ASTM E 9
- Peel Tear & Friction tests
- Flexural (3-point & 4 point) test as per ASTM E 855 & ASTM D 790
Advanced Material Tests
- Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) test stress and strain controlled both in tension-tension and tension-compression as per ASTM E 606
- High Cycle Fatigue test as per ASTM E 466
- Fatigue Crack Growth Rate (FCGR/FCP) as per ASTM E 647
- J1c Ductile Fracture Toughness test as per ASTM E 1820
- K1c Brittle Fracture Toughness test as per ASTM E 399
